Car Rally - SSBASICC

The first of its kind, CAR RALLY event was organized to create awareness on road traffic accidents on the occasion of the golden jubilee year celebrations of SSBASICC on Sunday, August 27, 2023, from Vidhana Soudha (FLAG OFF) to WHITE MIST (44km stretch). Dr. Hosni Mubarak Khan - EC member SSBASICC was the organizing head and also the MC for the event. Dr. Khan gave an introduction to the event and stressed the importance of conducting this event to bring awareness on road traffic accidents among the common public and the road safety measures to be taken to reduce the incidence of RTAs. He also delivered the welcome speech and rendered the vote of thanks to all the people who made this event a memorable one.

PRESIDENT SSBASICC DR VENKATESH K L – also welcomed everyone and did felicitate the chief guest.

CHIEF GUEST – Dr. M A SALEEM IPS - DGP, CID - Special units and Economic offenses, Bengaluru, did address the gathering and the media in order to implement safety measures to reduce RTA. Sir also did flag off the car rally event from the VIDHANA SOUDHA premises.

Dr. H V SHIVARAM – CHAIRMAN KSCASI and Dr. CHANDRASHEKAR N – Hon SECRETARY KSCAI, also witnessed the event and addressed the gathering/media apart from flagging off the rally. The event was well appreciated by them too.

SECRETARY SSBASICC – Dr. MANISH JOSHI – also did comment on the road safety measures.

The event also marked and was well appreciated by some special invites namely Dr. SANTOSH JOHN ABRAHAM – Director ASI academics, and also the past president of ASI Dr. SIDDESH G.

More than 100 surgeons and their family members from namma Bengaluru did actively participate in the event and thoroughly enjoyed too. The event was well appreciated by one and all and that labeled it a memorable one.
